Tom Beattie - Employment Lawyer
Tom is a solicitor in our Employment Law team.
He advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment law work such as settlement agreements, contracts of employment and staff handbooks, disciplinary and grievance procedures and issues, restrictive covenants, corporate acquisitions, TUPE and Employment Tribunal claims.
He qualified as a solicitor with Ashtons in 2023.
He previously worked as a paralegal in our Lifetime Planning, assisting the solicitors and the wider team in matters regarding Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications, having joined the Lifetime Planning team at Ashtons Legal in November 2017.
He completed his law degree at the University of Essex, graduating in 2017 and has recently completed his Legal Practice Course, LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) at BPP University in Cambridge.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys exercising and is an avid football fan.
